The Ugandan Ministry of Local Government  requested assistance from PDF for building capacity on energy issues within local government institutions. The project aimed at raising awareness and integrating energy into planning processes at district level. Local government officials were trained in energy planning, and modalities for the collection of energy information at district level will be developed. Furthermore, the exchange of energy-related data between national and district institutions was promoted.
