Background Paper on Energy and National Finances in Africa for Financing for Development Conference

Upon request from the Ghanaian Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, EUEI PDF financed a background paper on 'Energy and National Finances in Africa' for the 2007 Financing for Development Conference held in Accra on May 30-31. The theme of the conference was 'Infrastructure for Growth - The Energy Challenge'. The African Ministers of Finance adopted a Communiqué that includes actions for governments, the private sector and development partners.
